The Glen Cairn Community Association in collaboration with In Bloom Flower Shop at 420 Hazeldean Road (down from Shopper's) would like to start a weekly campaign to "share the love"!
Together we challenge all Men and Women, young and old to spread a little happiness in an otherwise hectic world we live in.
Far too often in the news or around the water coolers we are hearing sad news from down the street or from around the globe.
Lee Dorsey the owner of In Bloom Flower Shop and I have agreed to spread the word by challenging our friends and neighbours to do something nice - like give someone special a single Red Rose each an every week. Just watch their faces light up.
Be a hopeless romantic, pick up one beautifully gift wrapped Red Rose for only $4.99 and bring a little smile to that someone special in your lives.
A simple Red Rose each week will spread some love and kindness in an otherwise hectic and stressed world.
Let's see how long we can keep this going - spread the word and make this world a better place - even for only 5 minutes. Then do it again every week.
Imagine if everyone in Kanata gave someone a single Red Rose and donated one loonie to a worthy cause like the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa - what an impact that could have!

Rumour has it there is a very special man who live in Kanata South who has been bringing his wife one Red Rose each Saturday for years.

In Bloom Florist on behalf of the Glen Cairn Community Association will accept cash donations in Memory of Jamie Hubley.
All proceeds will be given to the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa.
